I’m Dan Lovatt, the man behind Lovatt Studio, an Interior Design Studio based in the North East, UK.

I started Lovatt Studio 4 years ago working across a variety of projects from residential design, commercial projects and creative consulting. I graduated with 1st class honours in Interior Design from Teesside University, and have spent most of my adult life fixated on design.

Interior design to me isn’t just about making things pretty. That’s not what I see interior design as. It’s listening and understanding, coming up with creative solutions and overcoming challenges, collaborating with clients and discussing ideas, creating spaces where your shoulders drop and your stresses leave as you walk into somewhere that feels like home. And you know, lovely cushions and all that…

The spaces we are in have such a profound effect on how we feel and behave, and my job as a designer, is to help you achieve that with experience, passion and creativity.
